Our intent as the Public Policy Committee of the Aurora Economic Development Council is to monitor the legislative session and advocate for government laws and policies that improve the competitive advantages Colorado offers to primary employers and to minimize potential loss during an economic downturn. The following positions are in the policy areas most relevant to our stated mission at the federal, state and local levels. While we will focus on the following items, this does not preclude us from addressing other issues as they arise.
Aurora Economic Development Council investors receive a weekly Public Policy Update that is a summary list of proposed legislation has been identified by the Public Policy Committee as important to economic development and business interests.
