The Aurora Economic Development Council targets several kinds of corporate office users including headquarters, administrative support and professional/technical facilities. Corporate office users are attractive for at least three reasons:

• They are wealth creators. Corporate office users are typically employers that provide products or services in return for revenues generated outside of the community.
• They are efficient. Corporate office users usually house many employees with good jobs per square foot of space.
• They pay well. Corporate office users often provide good wages for many kinds of work.

Aurora is home to several significant corporate office facilities. Merrick & Company, an engineering and architectural firm active nationally and internationally, has its headquarters in Aurora. Aerospace companies, Raytheon, Northrop Grumman, Boeing and Lockheed Martin have significant technical and IT operations in Aurora while ADT Security Services, Corporate Express, Dex Media and ADP have large administrative support and customer service operations in the city.
