Fitzsimons is a key component of Colorado’s bioscience industry. The 578-acre former Fitzsimons Army Medical Center is undergoing a $4.3 billion transformation. As one of the largest medical-related redevelopment project in the United States, the Fitzsimons master-plan calls for up to 15 million-square-feet of new construction dedicated to excellence in patient care, education, and research. At build-out, approximately 32,000 people will be employed at the Fitzsimons campus.
