Through innovative employer recruiting, expansion and retention initiatives, the Aurora Economic Development Council is helping build a regional economic powerhouse representing the state’s most promising growth industries, including transportation, biosciences, aerospace and defense systems. The public sector partners are the city of Aurora, Arapahoe County and Adams County. The private sector partners are the leading 100 companies in the metro area with business interests in Aurora. 
 
Our Mission
The Aurora Economic Development Council is a public/private partnership dedicated to enhancing the economic strength of the city of Aurora by recruiting new primary employers, retaining existing primary employers and assisting current primary employers to expand in the city.
